Sessions FAQ
Absolutely not! I love working with those who are new to this work as well as those who have had some experience. I tend to find that those who have no experience have an easier time dropping in and directing their mind to the body versus applying their previous experience to the session.
Come with a clear intention — even something simple, like slowing down, relaxing deeply, staying curious, or gaining clarity about something in your life. Having an anchor for your awareness helps guide the experience and allows the session to meet you where you are. You'll be asked to shower before and after our time together. Please avoid wearing heavy cologne or perfume, so we can keep the space clear and sensitive to natural scents. If there is any inkling you might be coming down with something, please reach out to me. Give yourself plenty of time to arrive. Arriving unrushed helps you settle into your body and receive the full depth of the session.
There are a few components to a session and I find that 2 hours is a solid amount of time for most people to have a truly relaxing first session. For those that want to have more time to speak at the beginning or tend to feel anxiety, I recommend 2.5 or 3 hours to make sure there's ample time to offer you an aligned session.
Please refrain from any intoxicants for 24 hours prior to your session as this will create a safe and beneficial starting point for both of us. If you do show up intoxicated, I do reserve the right to ask you to leave, and to pay for the session time in full.
Screening FAQ
Screening lets me create a space that's aligned and respectful for us both — just as you wouldn't welcome a stranger into your home without knowing who they are, I welcome those into my space who have no problem identifying themselves.
You don't have to — but I respond with the level of respect and care that is offered to me, and I take special note of the effort and intention someone puts into their communication.
Yes you can — just let me know in your message that you are preemptively screening and we can find the right timing to meet later.
1. US citizens: your driver's license with full name, birthdate, and photo clearly visible — you may cross out all other information. Non-US citizens: your passport with the same details visible; other information may be crossed out.
2. One of the following:
- A LinkedIn profile with 255+ connections and a clear photo of you visible
- A company badge showing your full name, photo, and company
- Three references with the practitioner's website or ad linked so I can reach out to them directly. Please let them know I'll be doing this. (Note: reference screening can take extra time.)
You're sending your screening info to my encrypted email — and I highly encourage you to use one as well for true end-to-end encryption. Once you've attended your first session, all screening materials are deleted.
While you're ultimately taking my word for it, I deeply value privacy for myself as well as my clients. My work centers on trust, mutual respect, and authentic care — starting the moment you message me.
After you submit the form and email your ID, here's what happens: I review everything within 2–3 days, depending on my schedule — and I respond regardless of outcome. If we're a good fit, I'll suggest a short 15-minute call: just enough to hear your voice, answer last questions, and get a feel for each other before we choose a time.
If it's been over 48 hours without a reply, please follow up. It's just me handling everything, and messages occasionally get buried — I'd rather you follow up than assume the answer is no.
Once we've connected, we'll lock in your date, time, and location, and I'll send confirmation details directly.
Booking FAQ
My calendar stays open at all locations until a session is booked for that day, or until shared space is reserved. Booking in advance is the best way to secure your preferred day, time, and location.
This is a view-only calendar — reach out via text or email to book. New clients: please complete the New Client screening first so we can get you on the calendar.
Ask away! Sessions typically run 11 AM – 8 PM, and I can occasionally flex those hours. A week or more of notice gives me the best chance of opening up an unlisted day — especially helpful for new clients, whose screening needs a little lead time too.
Rarely — I'm typically booked a few days to a week in advance. When same-day availability does come up, I offer it to established clients first, since new-client screening takes time. Planning ahead gets you the best availability.
Yes — this falls under a Bespoke session, which begins with a brief call to clarify your intentions and co-create the session's arc: pacing, tone, and atmosphere. Established clients, reach out to schedule the call and share your ideal day and time. New clients, complete the New Client screening and mention your interest in a Bespoke session — we'll cover it on our call.
As an independent practitioner, I handle all of my own screening, booking, and sessions. Established clients can expect a reply within a few hours to a few days. New clients: allow 2–3 days, as screening takes priority. If I'm away, you'll receive an automatic text or email noting when I'll be back online.
I appreciate 24 hours' notice. Cancellations inside 3 hours are considered late and require 50% of the session fee to rebook.
I hold incall sessions at private locations in San Jose, San Rafael, Berkeley, and Oakland. My specific location varies by day based on the nature of the session; all venues are in safe, easily accessible areas. Outcalls are available to established clients, subject to my schedule.
